About Julie Berman: Licensed Professional Counselor
I work with people who are grappling with depression, anxiety and addictions,
eating disorders and relationships.
I am a Licensed
Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I earned a MA in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College.
My license is through the State of Oregon: Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. I also hold a MFA
in Fiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College. I have taught at New York University and CUNY-Baruch College.
My fiction has appeared in various journals and magazines.
I
have clinical experience at Kaiser Permanente and Providence Medical Center and have counseled students at local colleges.
I have also completed training and work as a volunteer mediator doing conflict resolution and dialogue facilitation at City
Hall in Beaverton, Oregon. I work with couples, families, and colleagues to find solutions.
